During my student years, I participated in a University sports team and trained hard. I learned the joy of experiments and research and the fun of studying for these in an undergraduate laboratory. I strive to give as much of my experience and technical abilities in experiments as possible to students in our laboratory.

We are engaged in research concerning the chemistry, biological functions, and application of protein resources including lectins and bioactive peptides contained in animals and plants.
Our laboratory members are composed of Japanese and international members with diverse backgrounds. It is my hope to create an active laboratory where members work together cooperatively.
