The research theme of my Ph.D. degree was the evolutionary biology of gynodioecy (coexistence of hermaphrodites and females) in liliaceous plants. Now I am working on plant diversity and conservation.

We are now studying the natural hybridization between plant species, coevolution of plants and other organisms, conservation of threatened species, and microevolution of wild plants using multidisciplinary approaches.

I cordially welcome students wishing to study plant diversity, evolution, taxonomy, and conservation.
