Recent Activities
I am studying how physical dynamics of watershed (such as water, sediment, and wood) as well as biological dynamics (migration of insects, shrimps, fishes etc) sustain stream and riparian ecosystems. By field-based observations, surveys, and experiments in various parts of the world, I investigate how natural watershed ecosystems work.
