I am passionate about research on how biodiversity is created and maintained, and investigating the history of diversification and factors driving diversification using invertebrates as models. I am also interested in biodiversity conservation, particularly in the differences in reproductive aspects between native and invasive organisms and management approaches applying the differences.

1) Evolution of reproductive strategies and development of reproductive barrier in hermaphroditic organisms.
