Obtaining Graduate School Certificates

➤ How to Apply
Complete the Request for Issuance of Certificate form and submit it to the Academic Affairs Section by office visit, mail, or campus Gakunaibin mail. To request a sealed official envelope, mark "sealed" on the form. Automatic certificate machines are available for currently enrolled students (excludes specific certificates).

Request Formfor Issuance of Certificate (JP/EN) 

A scanned copy (PDF) can be emailed upon request, but it will be clearly marked as a copy. 

The certificate will be issued the day after the application is submitted, but please apply well in advance in case the form is to be mailed on a weekend or holidays.
 

➤ About Fees and Commissions

No fees are required. You will only be charged for postage in case of sending certificates by mail.
 

➤ Return Envelope and Stamps (for mailed certificates)

We can mail your certificate. If you reside in Japan, include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient stamps for postage along with your request form.

  • Regular envelopes (定形封筒)
    110 yen
  • Non-standard (large) envelopes (定形外の封筒)
    1-5 certificates: 140 yen
          6-10 certificates: 180 yen
  • For express mail, add an additional 300 yen in stamps.

International Requests: For original copies of certificates if you live outside of Japan, please contact the Academic Affairs Section by email.
