公益財団法人本庄国際奨学財団より2027年度外国人留学生（春採用）奨学金の募集案内がありました。応募したい方は、財団へ直接ご応募ください。また、応募した際は、生命科学研究科教務係にその旨を必ずお知らせください。
応募受付期間：2026年9月1日～2026年10月31日（奨学金オンライン申請システムの稼働期間）
応募資格：※詳細は募集要項を確認のこと
・日本国籍を持たない者。
・2027 年 4 月時点で大学院に在籍している者。または 2027 年 4 月入学を予定している者。
・奨学金支給開始時点で在籍期間が残り 1 年以上あること。
・博士課程は 35 歳までに入学したもしくは入学予定であること、修士課程は 30 歳までに入学したまたは入学
予定のもの。
・ 大学院修了後は母国に貢献する将来計画を持つ者。
・国際親善や交流に理解を持ち、財団で行う行事や同窓生ネットワークに積極的に参加または協力できる者。
・日本語の日常会話ができる者。面接審査は日本語で行います。
※奨学金受給期間中は下記以外の他の奨学金を受給することはできません。
・文部科学省国費外国人留学生制度の奨学金
・文部科学省外国人留学生学習奨励費
・日本学術振興会特別研究員
・国立研究開発機構科学技術振興機構（JST）によるフェローシップ（JST が他の奨学金との重複受給を認めているものに限る）
・独立行政法人国際協力機構（JICA）の奨学金
金 額：
(1)月額23万円を1年間～2年間
(2)月額21万円を3年間
給付期間： 2027年4月 ～ 正規の修業年限

The Honjo International Scholarship Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2027 scholarship program for international students (Spring recruitment). Interested students should apply directly to the foundation. After submitting your application, please be sure to notify the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences.
Application Period: September 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026 (The online application system will be active during this period)
Eligibility: Please refer to the application guidelines for details
- Must not have Japanese citizenship.
- Must be enrolled in a graduate school as of April 2027, or be a prospective student planning to enroll in April 2027.
- Must have at least one year of enrollment remaining as of the scholarship start date.
- Must have enrolled or be planning to enroll in a doctoral program by age 35, or a master's program by age 30.
- Must have a future plan to contribute to your home country after completing your graduate studies.
- Must be willing to actively participate in and contribute to the foundation's events and alumni network, with an understanding of international goodwill and exchange.
- Must be able to hold a daily conversation in Japanese. The selection interview will be conducted in Japanese.
*During the scholarship period, you cannot receive any other scholarships except for the following:
- Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship
- Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students
- JSPS International Fellowship
- Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Fellowship (limited to those approved by JST for concurrent receipt with other scholarships)
- Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Scholarship
Amount:
(1) 230,000 yen per month for 1 to 2 years
(2) 210,000 yen per month for 3 years
Payment Period: April 2027 - until the end of the standard course of study
