募集対象、金額、給付期間
◎応募資格：※詳細は募集要項を参照
・2027年4月1日現在で大学院に正規生として在籍する者
・アジア太平洋地域諸国(募集要項「V.応募者国籍の範囲」参照)の国籍を有する者
・日本語によるコミュニケーションが取れる者
・年2回の「奨学生の集い」に参加すること；奨学金終了後も財団の交流を継続すること
・他の奨学金やLEAP等の研究奨励費との併給不可
◎金 額： 25万円/月
◎給付期間： 2027年4月 ～ 2028年3月 （延長申請を認めた場合は3年間まで）

The Watanuki International Scholarship Foundation has announced the call for applications for its 2027 scholarship program.
If you wish to apply, please submit all required application documents to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Monday, October 5, 2026. If you cannot meet the deadline, please consult with us in advance.
Note: In principle, students who have already been selected for or are currently applying for (including direct applications) another non-combinable scholarship for FY2027 are not eligible for this selection.
Eligibility, amount, and period of scholarship
Eligibility: ※Please refer to the application guidelines for full details.
- Must be enrolled as a regular graduate student as of April 1, 2027.
- Must hold nationality from an Asia-Pacific country/region (refer to "V. Scope of Applicant Nationalities" in the application guidelines).
- Must be able to communicate in Japanese.
- Must attend the bi-annual "Scholarship Student Gathering" and maintain contact with the foundation after the scholarship period ends.
- Concurrent receipt of other scholarships or research grants (such as LEAP, etc.) is not allowed.
Amount: 250,000 JPY/month
Period: April 2027 – March 2028 (1 year) (Up to 3 years if an extension application is approved)
