5月18日〜19日、静岡大学の番場先生が学生さんを連れて来訪されました。
鹿島台圃場を使った共同研究です。

そこで、18日の夜には、伊達藩長屋酒場で交流会が行われました。
大変美味しゅうございました。

On 18–19 May, Banba-sensei from Shizuoka University visited us with his group of students.
This is part of a joint research project using our Kashimadai experimental field.

To mark this occasion, a social gathering was held at the Date-han Nagaya Sake Bar on the evening of the 18th.
The food and drink were absolutely delicious.

We look forward to working with you in the future.

4月9日、セミナー講師として東北大へ来られたUta Paszkowski先生を囲んで、経塚研と合同でお花見を開催しました。

お花見やその後開催されたセミナーでは、アーバスキュラー菌根（AM）共生の興味深いお話を拝聴することができ、大変勉強になりました。

On April 9, we held a joint cherry blossom viewing party with Dr. Uta Paszkowski, who was visiting Tohoku University as a seminar lecturer, hosted by the Kyozuka Laboratory.

During the cherry blossom viewing and the seminar that followed, we had the opportunity to hear the professor’s fascinating talks on arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) symbiosis, which proved to be a highly informative experience.

2月5日（木）生命科学研究科の最終審査慰労会がプロジェクト棟1Fで開催されました。
M2の皆さん、修士論文の執筆、発表会のプレゼン、お疲れさまでした。
指導と審査にあたられた先生もご苦労様でした。

The final review appreciation gathering for the Graduate School of Life Sciences was held on Thursday, February 5, on the first floor of the Project Building.

All M2/D3 students worked very hard on writing their master’s theses and delivering their presentations. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the professors for their supervision and careful review of the theses.

We sincerely congratulate all M2/D3 students on their dedication and achievements.

2月3日に修士論文審査会が行われました。

論文題目は以下の通りでした。

・金子 純士「ミヤコグサのイソフラボノイド前駆物質プレニル基転移酵素の機能解析」

・鈴木 涼太「クローバー根粒菌におけるN2O還元を担う脱窒モジュールと共生活性を担う共生プラスミドを中心とした比較ゲノム解析」

・野澤 里美「ミヤコグサと広域宿主根粒菌Bradyrhizobium elkaniiの相互作用におけるIII型分泌エフェクターNopMの作用機構の解明」

・原田 智彦「N2O削減能を保有する新規クローバー根粒菌の単離と機能評価」

みな、堂々とプレゼンに臨んでいまして、とても良い審査会になったと思います。

修士論文を書き上げたこと、プレゼンを頑張って準備したこと、どれも大変だったでしょう。本気で取り組んだこらら経験はこれから先の人生できっと活きてくると思います。

みなさん、お疲れさまでした！

岩手大学大学院農学研究科の川原田先生の研究室からポスドクの千葉さんが、共同研究の為、12/16〜12/18の予定で滞在しています。
千葉さんは根粒共生のスペシャリストです。

岩手のお酒やジュースをお土産にいただきました。

Dr. Chiba, a postdoctoral researcher from Professor Kawaharada’s laboratory at Graduate School of Agriculture, Iwate University is staying in our laboratory from December 16th to 18th for collaborative research. He is a specialist in rhizobial symbiosis.

We received Iwate sake and juice as souvenirs.
