2025年度4月期「東北大学高等大学院国際卓越研究者育成支援プログラム(AGS RISE Program)」の支援学生を募集します。
支援を希望する方は募集要項を参照の上、下記の要領で申請してください。
※このプログラムは「東北大学高等大学院博士後期課程学生挑戦的研究支援プロジェクト」(2021～2024年度)の後継プログラムです。
（１）支援期間
2025年4月～原則、標準修業年限内まで
（２）支援内容
（１）研究奨励費（生活費相当額支援金） 月額１８万円
※研究奨励費は税法上雑所得として扱われることから、確定申告により所得税を納税すること。
※現在海外におり、入学後一度も来学していない学生の実際の研究奨励費や研究費の支給は、
来学し、手続き後に開始する。
（２）研究費 年額３４万円
※競争的資金としてさらに研究費を配分する場合がある。
（３）出願資格
・2025年4月時点で生命科学研究科の博士後期課程1年次から3年次に在籍する者。
※休学歴のある学生、長期履修の学生は、申請前に生命科学研究科教務係へ相談すること。

We are now accepting applications for the "Tohoku University Advanced Graduate School Research Initiative for International Scholarly Excellence (AGS RISE) Program for doctoral course students" starting in April 2025.
Applicants wishing to receive support should refer to the recruitment guidelines and submit their applications according to the following procedures.

* This program is a follow-up project to the “Tohoku University Pioneering Research Support Project for PhD Students” (2021-2024).
（1）Support Period
From April 2025 until the end of the standard course
（2）Support Details
1) Incentive Stipend: Monthly stipend of 180,000 JPY/month (equivalent to living expenses)
*Please note that the research incentive is considered miscellaneous income for tax purposes and is subject to income tax.

*Students who are currently overseas and have not yet enrolled will have their research incentive and research expenses paid after they enroll and complete the necessary procedures.
2) Research grant: 340,000 JPY/year
*Additional research funding may be allocated through competitive funding.
（3）Application Requirements
- Students enrolled in the first to third years of the doctoral program in the Graduate School of Life Sciences as of April 2025.
*Students who have taken a leave of absence or who are taking a long-term course should consult their eligibility with the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences before applying.
*Those who plan to take a leave of absence from April 2025 are not eligible to apply.
