※成績評価係数で表すことができない場合、または2.6未満の者を推薦する場合は、成績優秀と評価する理由を推薦書に記載すること
・採用された場合の受給期間が1学年相当以上ある者
・月額合計5万円を超える他の奨学金を受けない者。
※「次世代研究者挑戦的プログラム」との併給可（金額に関わらず）
金 額： 4万円/月
給付期間： 2025年4月から最長で2027年3月まで

We have received an announcement from the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) regarding the JEES Scholarship for International Students (Academic Support) for the 2025 academic year. Students who wish to apply should submit their application documents via email to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Please contact us if you anticipate any difficulties meeting the deadline.
Please note that applicants who have already been decided to receive other scholarships that cannot be combined with this scholarship in 2025 AY, or those who are currently applying for other scholarships (including direct applications), will, in principle, not be eligible for selection.
Eligibility: *Please refer to the application guidelines for detailed information.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a regular Master's or Doctoral program in the Graduate School as of April 1, 2025.
- Applicants must have a GPA of 2.6 or higher for the 2024 academic year.
*If it is not possible to express academic performance using a GPA, or if recommending an applicant with a GPA below 2.6, the reason for evaluating the applicant as academically excellent must be stated in the Letter of Recommendation.
- Applicants must have a remaining enrollment period of at least one academic year at the time of being selected.
- Applicants must not be receiving other scholarships totaling more than 50,000 yen per month.
*Concurrent receipt with the "Next Generation Research Project" is permitted regardless of the amount.
Scholarship Amount: 40,000 yen/month
Scholarship Period: From April 2025 to March 2027 at the latest.

*Please refer to the "Method for Calculating GPA" in section 2 of the Application Guidelines and write the calculated GPA in pencil in the margin.
*If it is not possible to calculate the GPA, please submit a statement of reasons (free format).
