公益財団法人公益財団法人佐藤陽国際奨学財団より私費留学生奨学生（秋募集・2025年10月期、2026年4月期）の募集案内がありました。応募手続きについて下記にてご確認ください。締め切りまでに間に合わないようであれば、事前にご相談ください。

応募資格など ※詳細は募集要項を参照のこと

・下記対象国国籍の私費留学生： 
東南アジア諸国（インドネシア、カンボジア、シンガポール、タイ、フィリピン、ブルネイ、ベトナム、マレーシア、ミャンマー、ラオス、東ティモール）
南西アジア諸国（インド、スリランカ、ネパール、パキスタン、バングラデシュ、ブータン、モルディブ）
・大学院正規課程に在籍するものまたは入学が決定している者
・2025年10月または、2026年4月現在で在学残期間が1年以上ある者
・財団主催の交流会に出席できること（年6 回、主に東京で開催）
・入学（進学）予定で合格を証明できる書類が提出できない大学院生は応募不可
・学業・研究に支障のない日本語能力を有する者
・他の奨学金との併給不可

支給額：20万円/月
支給期間：2年間
・ 2025年10月期私費留学奨学生：2025年10月から2027年9月まで
・ 2026年4月期私費留学奨学生：2026年4月から2028年3月まで
※2年内に奨学生採用時の課程を修了する場合は課程修了まで支給
※博士後期課程の大学院生は課程修了まで支給（ただし、2年以上の奨学金受給予定大学院生には中間で審査を行い、標準修業年限内に博士号取得が困難と判断された場合は、奨学金の支給を2年で終了することがあります。）

応募手続き

A）HP 応募フォーム

応募者自身が財団ホームページの応募フォームから申し込みます。応募フ ォームの作成にあたっては、大学が発行する「管理番号」が必要となりますので、申請希望の場合は以下期日までに氏名及び学籍番号をメールにて生命教務係宛にご連絡ください。本研究科で申請希望者を取りまとめの上、留学生課に報告し、応募可否等を確認したうえで、管理番号を発行し申請希望者に連絡します。

B）応募書類

財団募集要項、記入例を参照の上、遺漏のないよう作成し、8月29日（金）必着でデータを生命科学研究科にメールにてご提出ください。
募集要項に記載の応募書類の他に、学内で使用する「経済状況調書」と「民間奨学金申請時の心得」もご提出ください。

The Yo Sato International Scholarship Foundation has announced the call for applications for privately funded international student scholarships. Please check the application procedures below. If you are unable to complete the application by the deadline, please contact us in advance.

Requirements *Refer to the application guidelines for details

- Privately financed international students with nationality from the following target countries:
Southeast Asian Countries: Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, East Timor
Southwest Asian Countries: India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives
- Must be currently enrolled in or have received admission to a regular graduate program.
- Must have at least one year remaining in their period of enrollment as of October 2025 or April 2026.
- Must be able to attend foundation-sponsored exchange events (6 times per year, primarily held in Tokyo).
- Graduate students who are scheduled to enroll (advance) but cannot submit documentation proving their acceptance are ineligible to apply.
- Must have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to conduct academic and research activities without hindrance.
- Cannot concurrently receive other scholarships.

募集要項・Application Guideline (Japanese only)

Scholarship amount: 200,000 yen/month

Scholarship period: 2 years 
- October 2025 term: From October 2025 to September 2027
- April 2026 term: From April 2026 to March 2028
*If the recipient completes their program earlier than the 2-year period, the scholarship will be provided until program completion.
*For doctoral students, the scholarship will be provided until program completion (however, graduate students scheduled to receive the scholarship for more than 2 years will undergo an interim review. If it is determined that obtaining a doctoral degree within the standard program duration is difficult, scholarship payments may be terminated after 2 years).

Application Procedures

A) Online Application Form (via Foundation Website)
Applicants must apply directly through the application form on the foundation's website. To complete the application form, you will need a "Management Number" issued by the university. If you wish to apply, please send your name and student ID number by email to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by the deadline below. We will compile a list of applicants, report it to the International Affairs Division, confirm eligibility, issue the Management Number, and then contact the applicants back.
