・2025年4月1日現在、大学院正規課程に在籍する者
・募集要項P.4別紙記載の国・地域出身者（又は大学で特別な支援が必要と判断する国、地域出身者）
・採用された場合の受給期間が1学年相当以上ある者
・月額合計5万円を超える他の奨学金を受けない者。※「次世代研究者挑戦的プログラム」との併給可（金額に関わらず）
金 額： 5万円/月
給付期間： 以下の期間（最長2年間）とする。
・2025年4月時点において大学院に在籍する者：2025年4月から最長で2027年3月まで
・2025年度10月に入学予定の者：2025年10 月から最長で2027年9月まで

We have received an announcement from the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) regarding the JEES Scholarship for International Students (for priority countries) for the 2025 academic year. Students who wish to apply should submit their application documents via email to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Please contact us if you anticipate any difficulties meeting the deadline.
Please note that applicants who have already been decided to receive other scholarships that cannot be combined with this scholarship in 2025 AY, or those who are currently applying for other scholarships (including direct applications), will, in principle, not be eligible for selection.
Eligibility: *Please refer to the application guidelines for detailed information.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a regular Master's or Doctoral program in the Graduate School as of April 1, 2025.
- Applicants must be from countries or regions listed in the Appendix on page 4 of the application guidelines (or countries or regions that the university deems require special support).
- Applicants must have a remaining enrollment period of at least one academic year at the time of being selected.
- Applicants must not be receiving other scholarships totaling more than 50,000 yen per month. *Concurrent receipt with the "Next Generation Research Project" is permitted regardless of the amount.
Scholarship Amount: 50,000 yen/month
Scholarship Period: The following periods (up to a maximum of 2 years):
- Students enrolled in the Graduate School as of April 2025: From April 2025 to March 2027 at the latest.
- Students scheduled to enroll in October 2025: From October 2025 to September 2027 at the latest.
