公益財団法人佐藤陽国際奨学財団より私費留学生奨学生（秋募集 ）の募集案内がありました。応募手続きについて下記にてご確認ください。締め切りまでに間に合わないようであれば、事前にご相談ください。

2026年10月または2027年4月からの併給不可の他奨学金について受給決定の者ならびに申請中（直接応募含む）の者については、原則として選考対象外としますのでご留意願います。

応募資格など ※詳細は募集要項を参照のこと

・下記対象国国籍の私費留学生： 
東南アジア諸国（インドネシア、カンボジア、シンガポール、タイ、フィリピン、ブルネイ、ベトナム、マレーシア、ミャンマー、ラオス、東ティモール）
南西アジア諸国（インド、スリランカ、ネパール、パキスタン、バングラデシュ、ブータン、モルディブ）
・正規課程に在籍している者及び入学が決定している者
・学業・研究に支障のない日本語能力を有する者
・2026年10月または2027年4月現在で在学残期間が1年以上ある者
・財団主催の交流会に出席できること（年6回、主に東京で開催）
・入学・編入予定で合格を証明できる書類が提出できない学生は応募不可
・他の奨学金との併給不可　※LEAP等の研究奨励費も併給不可

支給額：20万円/月
支給期間：2年間
・2026年10月期私費留学奨学生：2026年10月から2028年9月まで
・ 2027年 4 月期私費留学奨学生：2027年4月から2029年3月まで

応募手続き

A）HP 応募フォーム

応募者自身が財団ホームページの応募フォームから申し込みます。応募フ ォームの作成にあたっては、大学が発行する「管理番号」が必要となりますので、申請希望の場合は以下期日までに氏名及び学籍番号をメールにて生命教務係宛にご連絡ください。本研究科で申請希望者を取りまとめの上、留学生課に報告し、応募可否等を確認したうえで、管理番号を発行し申請希望者に連絡します。

B）応募書類

財団募集要項、記入例を参照の上、応募書類を作成し、教務係にデータでご提出ください。

The Sato Yo International Scholarship Foundation has announced its scholarship application for privately financed international students (Autumn Recruitment). Please check the application procedures below. If you cannot meet the deadline due to unavoidable circumstances, please consult us in advance.

In principle, if you have already been selected for, or are currently applying for (including direct applications), another non-combinable scholarship starting from October 2026 or April 2027, you are NOT eligible for this scholarship.

Requirements *Refer to the application guidelines for details

- Privately financed international students holding citizenship of one of the following countries:
   Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Timor-Leste
   Southwest Asia: India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives
- Students currently enrolled in a regular degree program or those whose admission has been officially confirmed.
- Must possess sufficient Japanese language proficiency to ensure no hindrance to academic and research activities.
- Must have at least 1 year remaining in their program as of October 2026 or April 2027.
- Must be able to attend the exchange meetings organized by the Foundation (approx. 6 times a year, mostly held in Tokyo).
- Students planning to enter or transfer who cannot submit official proof of passing the entrance exam are NOT eligible to apply.
- Combining this with other scholarships is NOT permitted (research incentives/stipends such as LEAP are also not combinable).

Scholarship amount: 200,000 yen/month
Duration: 2 Years
 - October 2026 Recipients: October 2026 to September 2028
 - April 2027 Recipients: April 2027 to March 2029

Application Procedures

A) HP Application Form

Applicants must apply individually through the online form on the Foundation’s website. To complete this form, a "Management Number" issued by Tohoku University is required.
If you wish to apply, please send an email with your Name and Student ID Number to the Academic Affairs Section by the internal deadline below. The Graduate School will compile the requests and issue the Management Number to you after verifying your eligibility.

Foundation Online Form Submission Deadline: August 17 (Mon), 2026 [Student → Foundation Website]

(B) Application documents

Please prepare the required documents referring to the Foundation's guidelines and examples, and submit your documents (data) to the Academic Affairs Section .
Please note that the deadlines differ depending on your enrollment status:
Category 1: Currently Enrolled Regular Students:  August 17 (Mon), 2026 [Student → Academic Affairs Section]
Category 2: Students Entering in October 2026 or April 2027: August 28 (Fri), 2026 [Student → Academic Affairs Section]

Note: Your application will NOT be accepted if you only submit the documents without completing the online registration.
