We are now accepting applications for the "TU Advanced Graduate School Next-Generation AI Expert Development Project" starting in April 2026.
If you would like to apply for support through this project, please follow the instructions below.
1. Support Period
April 2026 to the end of the standard course duration.
2. Support Details
(1) Research Stipend (Living Expense Allowance): 260,000 yen per month
* Please note that the research stipend is considered miscellaneous income for tax purposes and recipients must report this when filing their income tax returns.
(2) Research Grant: 780,000 yen per year
3. Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Understand the purpose of this project.
- Have the ambition and ability to acquire a doctoral degree and to pioneer and lead Japan's next-generation AI field.
- Be enrolled in the 1st year of 3-year doctoral curricula (or the 1st year of medical, dental, or pharmaceutical curricula) in April 1, 2026.
