なお、2026年度に併給不可の他奨学金について受給決定の者ならびに申請中(直接応募含む)の者については、原則として選考対象外としますのでご留意願います。
応募資格:※詳細は募集要項参照のこと
国籍・地域:インド以東のアジア諸国の国籍を有する者
※推薦の際は東南アジア地域の者を優先
※中国籍の場合は、下記の東北部並びに内陸部出身者のみ、特に、東北部出身者を優先
【東北部】・黒竜江省・吉林省・遼寧省
【内陸部】・河南省・湖北省・湖南省・安徽省・江西省・山西省・四川省・重慶市・貴州省・雲南省・陝西省・甘粛省・青海省・寧夏回族自治区・新疆ウイグル自治区・チベット自治区・広西チワン族自治区・内モンゴル自治区
・日本語能力:日本語能力試験N1合格者
・2026年4月現在で、大学院正規課程に在籍する者
・2026年4月1日現在で30歳以下の者
・他の奨学金との併給・併願不可(RISE等も含む)
・勉学意欲が盛んで努力家であること
・留学生間で人望があること
・異文化理解(とくに日本文化理解)に意欲があること
・年4回(予定)開催される奨学生交流会に出席すること
金 額: 20万円/月
給付期間:2026年4月からの支給とし、毎年度末に審査の上、 所属する研究科の標準年限まで継続可とする。

※日本での連絡先は、本人同様に一時帰国等の可能性のある知人(留学生)はなるべく避けてください。
⑷ 「身上書」の別添記入用紙(所定様式):A4 用紙1枚
⑸ 在学証明書:大学院各課程入学予定者は、合格通知書(写)
⑹ 在留カード(写):両面
⑺ 成績証明書:現課程および前課程のもの

The Hirose International Scholarship Foundation has announced its call for applications for the 2026 International Students Scholarship.
If you wish to apply, please submit the required application documents to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Friday, January 30, 2026. If you are If you are unable to meet this deadline, please contact us in advance.
As a general rule, students who have already been selected for another non-combinable scholarship for FY2026, or those currently applying for one (including direct applications), are ineligible for this scholarship.
Eligibility: *Refer to the Application Guidelines for full details.
Nationality/Region: Must be a citizen of an Asian country located east of India.
*Priority will be given to students from Southeast Asia.
*Note for Chinese Citizens: Eligibility is limited to those from the Northeast or Inland regions listed below (priority given to the Northeast region).
Northeast: Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning
Inland: Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Tibet, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia.
- Language Proficiency: Must have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1.
- Must be enrolled in a regular graduate degree program as of April 2026.
- Must be 30 years old or younger as of April 1, 2026.
- Combined receipt or simultaneous application with other scholarships (including RISE, etc.) is not permitted.
- Must be highly motivated in studies, hardworking, respected by peers, and eager to understand different cultures (especially Japanese culture).
- Must attend the Scholarship Exchange Meetings held 4 times a year (tentative).
Amount: 200,000 JPY per month.
Duration: Starts from April 2026. The scholarship may continue until the end of the standard program term, subject to an annual review at the end of each fiscal year.

*For the "Contact in Japan" section, please avoid listing fellow international students who might also leave the country temporarily.

(5) Certificate of Enrollment: (For new students, a copy of the Letter of Acceptance.).
(6) Residence Card Copy: Both sides.
(7) Academic Transcripts: From both your current and previous degree programs.
