公益財団法人旭硝子奨学財団より2026年度外国人留学生奨学生の募集について案内がありました。応募したい方は、2026年4月10日（金）までに生命科学研究科教務係へ応募書類をご提出してください。締め切りに間に合わないようであれば、ご相談ください。
なお、2026年度に併給不可の他奨学金について受給決定の者ならびに申請中（直接応募含む）の者については、原則として選考対象外とします。また、学校推薦で民間奨学金に採用された場合、他の奨学金等受給のために辞退することは原則としてできませんので、ご留意下さい。
応募資格等 ※詳細については募集要項を参照のこと
・課程・年次：2026年4月現在で博士前期課程 1年次または博士後期課程1年次に在籍する者
・国籍・地域：タイ、インドネシア、中国（台湾除く）、ベトナム、韓国
・日本語能力：日本語による意思伝達が可能な者
・奨学金支給期間中に、他機関より月額12万円を超える給付型奨学金を受けない者
・「特別研究員」「次世代研究者挑戦的プログラム」との併給不可
・学内奨学金との併給不可
※大学でのTA、RA等での収入は、研究活動の一環のため、月額12万円へ合算の必要なし。
・2026年6月18日、19日（人文社会系）、24日、25日（自然科学系）実施予定の面接、及び7月14日（火）の授与式に参加できる者
金 額： 15万円/月
給付期間：2026年4月より、在籍する大学院の正規の修学期間

The Asahi Glass Foundation has released its recruitment notice for international student scholarships for the 2026 academic year. If you wish to apply, please submit the required application documents to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Friday, April 10, 2026. If you are unable to meet the deadline, please consult with us in advance.
Please note that, in principle, students who have already been selected for or are currently applying for other non-combinable scholarships for the 2026 academic year (including direct applications) will be excluded from the selection process. Additionally, please be aware that if you are selected for a private scholarship through university recommendation, you generally cannot withdraw from it in order to receive another scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements, etc. *For details, please refer to the application guideline.
- Program/Year: Must be a 1st-year Master’s student or 1st-year Doctoral student as of April 2026.
- Nationality/Region: Thailand, Indonesia, China (excluding Taiwan), Vietnam, or South Korea.
- Japanese Proficiency: Must be able to communicate effectively in Japanese.
- Income Restriction: Must not receive other grant-type scholarships exceeding 120,000 yen/month during the scholarship period.
*Income from university TA or RA positions is considered part of research activities and does not need to be added to the 120,000 yen monthly limit.
- Cannot be held concurrently with JSPS Research Fellowships, the "SPRING" program, or internal university scholarships.
- Must be able to attend the interviews scheduled for June 24 or 25, 2026 (for Natural Sciences) and the award ceremony on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
Scholarship Amount: 150,000 yen per month.
Scholarship Duration: From April 2026, for the standard duration of the graduate program.
