一般財団法人東北開発記念財団より2025年度外国人留学生修学援助の推薦候補者の募集案内がありました。応募を希望する方は、2026年4月10日（金）までに応募書類を生命科学研究科教務係に提出してください。締め切りに間に合わないようであれば、ご相談ください。
なお、本奨学金はこれまで部局からの直接応募となっておりましたが、奨学金の支給方法の関係から、今年度より大学を通じての応募となります。
応募資格 等
◎募集対象： ※詳しくは募集案内をご覧ください。
・課程・年次：博士課程の後期課程の１年次以降最終年次まで
・本人または配偶者が日本政府(文部科学省)による国費留学生でない者
・他の団体から奨学金・生活補助等の援助を受けている留学生であっても、他の給付と併せて、この援助に応募可能。ただし、本財団が行っている海外派遣援助とこの援助を、同一年度に併せて受けることは不可。
◎金 額：８万円/月
◎給付期間： 2026年4月 ～ 2027年3月（継続可）

(１)(２)(４)については提出書類作成要領を確認のうえ、作成すること。様式にある報告書は、申請時には必要ありません。
【書類作成について】
・黒のボールペン等で記入すること。消えるボールペンは使用不可。
・該当事項がない欄には「なし」等と記入すること。
・略歴については空白期間のないように記入すること。
・「経済状況」欄については、収入と支出の合計を一致させること。

※学費（授業料）について：2026年度前期分を月額換算で記入
・本奨学金は正規の修業年限を保証する奨学金ですので、なるべく在籍残期間が1年以上の者を優先して推薦いたします。
【奨学金支給方法について】
今回から、財団から直接学生に振り込むのではなく、いったん財団から大学へ送金後、大学から学生へ振り込む方法に変わります。（要在籍確認）
振込時期は、
・初回4月～6月分 → まとめて7月初旬頃支給
・7月分以降 → 毎月25日前後に支給
以上となります。
※募集要項P.3の「13援助の方法」に記載の文面は、本学では該当しませんので、ご注意ください。

The Tohoku Kaihatsu Memorial Foundation Scholarship has released its recruitment notice for the 2026 "Financial Aid for International Students" scholarship. If you wish to apply, please submit the required application documents to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Friday, April 10, 2026. If you are unable to meet the deadline, please consult with us in advance.
Please note that while applications for this scholarship were previously submitted directly by graduate schools, starting from this academic year, applications will be processed through the university due to changes in the payment method.
Eligibility Requirements, etc.
Eligibility: ＊Please refer to the application guide for details.
- Program/Year: Students enrolled in a Doctoral program (from the 1st year through the final year).
- The applicant or their spouse must not be a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship recipient.
- You may apply even if you are receiving scholarships or financial aid from other organizations. However, you cannot receive both this "Financial Aid" and the "Overseas Dispatch Grant" from this same Foundation within the same academic year.
Amount: 80,000 yen / month.
Duration: April 2026 – March 2027 (Renewal is possible).

Please complete documents (1), (2), and (4) according to the "Preparation Guidelines". Note that the "Report" included in the forms is not required at the time of application.
Important Notes on Document Preparation:
- Use a black ballpoint pen. Erasable pens (e.g., Frixion) are not permitted.
- If a section does not apply to you, please write "None" or "N/A".
- Do not leave any gaps in your personal/academic history.
- In the "Economic Status" section, ensure the total income and total expenditures match.
- All information should be current as of April 2026.
- Regarding Tuition: Enter the amount for the first semester of 2026 converted into a monthly amount.
- As this scholarship is intended to support students through their standard term of study, priority for recommendation will generally be given to students who have at least one year remaining in their program.
Scholarship Payment Method:
Starting this year, the payment method has changed. The Foundation will no longer transfer funds directly to students. Instead, the Foundation will send the funds to the University, and the University will then transfer the funds to the students (Enrollment confirmation is required).
Payment Schedule:
- First Payment (April–June): Paid as a lump sum around early July.
- From July onwards: Paid monthly around the 25th of each month.
Please note that the description under "13. Method of Aid" on page 3 of the Foundation's application guide does not apply to students at our university.
