・2026年4月1日現在、大学院正規課程に在籍する者
・募集要項P.4別紙記載の国・地域出身者（又は大学で特別な支援が必要と判断する国、地域出身者）
・採用された場合の受給期間が1学年相当以上ある者
・本奨学金受給期間中、他の奨学金等の受給額合計が、年額60万円（月額5万円相当）以下の場合、併給可
※LEAP等研究奨励費との併給可（金額に関わらず）
金 額： 5万円/月
給付期間： 2026年4月から最長で2028年3月まで

We have received an announcement from the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) regarding the JEES Scholarship for International Students (for priority countries) for the 2026 academic year. Students who wish to apply should submit their application documents via email to the Academic Affairs Section of the Graduate School of Life Sciences by Thursday, April 30, 2026. Please contact us if you anticipate any difficulties meeting the deadline.
Please note that applicants who have already been decided to receive other scholarships that cannot be combined with this scholarship in 2026 AY, or those who are currently applying for other scholarships (including direct applications), will, in principle, not be eligible for selection.
Eligibility: *Please refer to the application guidelines for detailed information.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a regular Master's or Doctoral program in the Graduate School as of April 1, 2026.
- Applicants must be from countries or regions listed in the Appendix on page 4 of the application guidelines (or countries or regions that the university deems require special support).
- Applicants must have a remaining enrollment period of at least one academic year at the time of being selected.
- Applicants must not be receiving other scholarships totaling more than 50,000 yen per month.
*This scholarship may be combined with other research grants such as LEAP (regardless of the amount).
Scholarship Amount: 50,000 yen/month
Scholarship Period: From April 2026 to March 2028 at the latest.
