自分がいまこうして考えているのはどういうことなのだろう？知覚・認識・判断・行動企図という主観的現象は「もの」としてはどのように説明できるのだろう？それらは神経系の機能として還元できるはずだと考えて、動物の行動発現を神経回路の機能としてとらえたいと研究を続けています。
